The Giver Chapter 24 Creative Writing Project!
In a two to three page paper (double spaced), compose the next chapter in The Giver. Per our class discussions regarding sequels, please do not let any information from subsequent novels or movies sway or taint your imagination in any way! Please be as creative and as inventive as possible.

Checklist:
_____ Vivid and detailed imagery of the setting. (Incorporate the five senses, and similes/metaphors when possible)
_____ Well-organized plot with a beginning, middle and end. (The ending does NOT have to offer the reader a definitive ending! This ending could halt abruptly on a high note or in a cliff-hanger fashion, leading into a sequel (uniquely yours- not from subsequent novels by Lois Lowry!)
_____ Realistic narration written in third person perspective following same the tone, elegance, and detail of the book.
_____ Thoughtful sentence structure and word choice.
______ Imaginative ideas expressed.
_____ Adherence to proper punctuation, spelling, and mechanics.
